Osteopathy is a manual form of therapy which emphasizes the interrelationship between structure and function of the human body. It follows a belief in the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate.

In treatment, the whole body is considered, including: muscles, joints, ligaments, fascia, nerves, arteries, veins, lymphatics, and organs.

The process begins with a full body assessment looking for areas of restriction. Once identified, the practitioner works to increase mobility and function in those areas.

Motivation for launching my alternative healthcare career stemmed from my experience with a severe back injury. The alternative care I received was pivotal to my recovery and fueled my desire for further exploration of the practice. I’ve since earned a Masters in Osteopathy from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

I’ve been treating patients with alternative healthcare methods since 2011. My approach is that of finding the root cause of dysfunctions in the body, through thorough assessment, and focusing on achieving measurable results. I am proactive in deepening my understanding of the functional relationships of all the systems of the body, its anatomy, and physiology.
